This promotion is an easy way to get customer reviews for any edition, which is entirely within Amazon guidelines.

How Does It Work?

  • Order your promotion from this page using the order form below

  • Submit your file in PDF, ePub, or Word format via our secure server

  • We create an enticing email to send to our mailing list of keen reader-reviewers based in the US and UK

  • Reader-reviewers download their free copy of your ARC to read

  • A high percentage of readers who download the ARC will review it on Amazon within a few weeks

An ARC is an Advanced Reader’s Copy of your book. It should be a finished, edited, and ready book file that is the exact same file you have published and have on sale, or intend to do so in the future. This is not a beta reader’s copy or an editing copy, so please do not send a copy of an incomplete book.  You can send the book file in the following ways:

  • PDF
  • Word
  • ePUB

We do not purchase paperback copies for this service.

The reviews will be from US and UK Amazon customers who we have on our readers’ mailing list.

Amazon’s community guidelines state, “It’s OK to review a free or discounted book (advanced reader copy) that you received from an author or publisher.” Therefore, reviewers do not get the ARC in exchange for a review. They will get a link to download a copy of your ARC in the mailer, which is hosted on our secure server, and will review it under their own volition, because it would be against Amazon guidelines to give the ARC to a reviewer in exchange for a review.

There is no need for the reviewer to declare they got a free ARC – e.g. “I received this book in exchange for a review.” In fact, it is better if they don’t.

The buyer-reviewers on our list are highly motivated readers, and in most cases will review your ARC on Amazon, and will, in some cases, also go on to buy your book from Amazon. However, we cannot offer an ARC in exchange for a review, so while there is a high percentage who will review the book, not all readers will. As a result, we make sure to send the mailer to enough readers on our mailing list to get up to 20 reviews at a time.

Because the book will not be purchased, Amazon reviews from this promotion will not be labeled with the Verified Purchase label, unless the reader goes on to buy your book before leaving the review. If you want Verified Reviews, you should promote your Kindle eBook instead.

We will run the promo within one week of your order, or near to your requested date. You will start seeing reviews within a few days or weeks, as readers finish your ARC, with the promotion normally completed in 4-5 weeks.
